My Valentine Plea


It's February fourteenth again;
Another St. Valentines Day.
And I sure hope you'll answer "yes."
To this question, I'm sending your way.

Will you please be my Valentine?
A simple question it's true.
But I would be so very happy;
If "us" were me and you.

It's just a simple question;
But your answer means so much.
My life would be complete for me;
With your added gentle touch.

I can't offer candy and flowers;
But one "special" gift I'll give.
It's my heart and all the love it holds;
As long as we both shall live!
