"I've Chosen To Forgive?"

For what you did, there's no excuse;
We both know that is true.
And now you're asking my forgiveness;
Should I go back with you?

I know that anyone can make a mistake;
And do something that is wrong.
After all, no one is perfect;
And, I am sad when you are gone.

I've given it a lot of thought;
And thought of your apology.
And the cute way you delivered it;
Down upon one bended knee.

I've decided to forgive you;
And put it in our past.
I only hope that apology;
Will forever be your last.

I welcome you back with open arms;
And the love that's in my heart.
Let's try to again for what we had;
And make a fresh new start.
