"Fate in the Flower?"
Loves me, or loves me not;
I watch the petals fall.
I pull them out, one by one;
Will I let them make the call?
It may be just a game to some;
But it's a reality for me.
I have to pull the petals out;
It's an answer I must see.
I watch the petals fall to the ground;
And wonder in my heart.
What answer will come up for me;
You love me not? Then do we part?
If I end up with, you love me;
Does that mean we stay together?
Will we be one, as we are now?
For always, and forever?
I never thought I'd put our fate;
In a game using a flower.
But with all the doubts I have faced;
I have completely lost my power.
This flower holds our future here;
Our nights and all our days.
It will tell me if we stay as one;
Or if we go our separate ways.
