You've taken all the love I had;
That was in my heart for you.
You ripped it from my body;
Then tore my heart in two.

All the trust and love I had;
Is no longer there to see;
You've taken it all from deep within;
It's no longer part of me.

I gave you all the love I had;
Or ever thought I'd possess.
I never dreamed this could happen;
I never would have guessed.

I thought it was a life long love;
It's what you made me believe.
And now the reality has come to me;
You've done nothing but deceive.

I can only hope the day will come;
That my heart will finally mend.
And I will find someone who cares;
And my love will live again.
