"How Could You Do This"

The pain goes on, day after day.
It's because of you, I feel this way.
You shattered our hopes, and our dreams.
There's no life left for us, it seems.
I went with you, to start a new life.
I left my world behind, to be your wife.
The life we had, was never real.
Will my shattered heart ever heal?
Will this pain I feel, ever go away?
Will I love again, another day?
They say in time, my heart will mend.
But, I doubt I'll ever trust again.
How could you rip our lives apart?
How could you break my fragile heart?
