"Since You've Gone"
I never thought the day would come;
That I'd feel so all alone.
And life is not worth living now;
Now that you have gone.
I breathe, but I'm not living;
My eyes see, but I am blind.
The forever love that we once had;
Is no more, for me to find.
Day after day, I ask myself;
Why you had to go away.
If I could see you once again;
I know what I would say.
I need to know why you left me;
Alone in this sorrowful world.
I reach out for you in my nightmares;
With my arms open and unfurled.
Then I awake, in sweat and tears;
Streaming down my face.
I look where you once laid your head;
Now, emptiness fills your space.
Days turn into weeks and months;
Time goes on endlessly.
Since you've gone, I have no life;
There's nothing left for me.
