I'm Sorry

If only I could go backwards;
And turn back the hands of time.
Then I could right the wrong I did;
And you would still be mine.

There's no excuse for what I did;
I can't believe I acted that way.
I know that I was terribly wrong;
This, I feel the need to say.

Know this apology, comes from my soul;
And I don't know what else to do.
All I know is, my heart is aching;
And I'm totally lost, without you.

All I ask is, think what we were;
And how we were together.
And maybe accept my apology here;
And go back to the two of us, forever!
