I am So Sorry

Day after day, I ask myself now;
"Why was I such a fool?"
How could I ever treat you like that?
How could I be so cruel?

How could I be so mean to you?
And treat you in such a way?
Now I sit here all alone;
Every night, and every day.

All I can say is how sorry I am;
For all the wrong I have done.
It's all my fault for what happened to us;
I take full blame, I am the one.

I know it may be too late for us now;
But I had to apologize.
I can only hope you'll forgive me one day;
And dry these tears within my eyes.
