I'm So Sorry

I feel that I must write this down;
And send it off to you.
I know I've made a big mistake;
I hope that we're not through.

I feel an emptiness without you here;
At my side where you belong.
Just know that I am writing this;
For I know that I was wrong.

I know that I have really hurt you;
I saw it in your eyes.
And for the pain that I have caused;
I must apologize.

There's no excuse for what I did;
And how I made you feel.
Just know that this comes from my heart;
And It's sincere and real.

I'll never cause you pain again;
If you'll accept my plea.
Please find it in your heart to forgive;
Let's go back to "you and me"!
