Just Because

I'm sending this, for no special reason.
It's not your birthday, or a special season.
It isn't Thanksgiving, or even Halloween;
This is just something, I want to be seen.

It's just a poem, that I wanted you to see;
Sent from the heart, to you, from me.
It's just to say, that I'm thinking of you;
And that I have, the whole day through.

I guess you would call it a "Just Because" verse;
For I think of you, and in those thoughts, I immerse.
So, I'm sending this "Just Because" verse your way;
To let you know, that you were thought of today!
