Congratulations On Your Baby Girl

I'm sending congratulations your way;
For you, and your new baby girl.
What a beautiful feeling it must be;
To bring new life into this world.

Do what all new parents do;
Count her fingers and her toes.
Hold her close, and love her much;
Kiss her cheek, the color of a rose.

What a blessing she'll be to you;
As you watch her body grow.
When she says that very first word;
You taught her, this you'll know.

The very first step that she will take;
As she ventures out on her own.
Is only one of thousands to come;
As she learns to walk all alone.

Enjoy her now, while she is small;
What a precious baby she is.
Before you know it, years will pass;
And she'll be on her own, to live.
