"For My Special Spouse"

You are the one that I'm married to;
And the one I live for, day to day.
You're everything I could hope for;
Each night I thank God, as I pray.

You make each day worth getting up;
And facing it together, with you.
I sometimes have to stop and think;
For you seem too good to be true.

From the first time that I saw you;
I felt something in my heart.
I knew you were meant to be with me;
Right away, from the very start.

Some say that there is no such thing;
As falling in love, at first sight.
But I knew that when I saw you;
That everything felt just right.

It's now been years, since we said our vows;
To love, and cherish each other.
But I'm as happy as the day we met;
So glad, that we're still together.

You will always be the love of my life;
In sickness, and in health.
And we will always be together;
Through the poor days, or the wealth.

I want to thank you, for being you;
And for loving me, through the years.
For always having faith in me;
And for chasing away my fears.

You make each year that passes in time;
A pleasure to walk by your side.
And the bonds that tie us so close together;
No man, nor nothing, could ever divide.
