Visions Of You
I still remember vividly;
It seems like yesterday.
You never even said good-bye;
You disappeared, and went away.
I still can see you in my dreams;
Visions of you appear.
I wake up and look around;
Still trembling with fear.
I pass a stranger on the street;
And at first, I think it's you.
But then I realize I'm wrong;
You're gone for good, that's true.
You went away so long ago;
But the pain is still inside.
And visions of you keep coming back.
This pain, I cannot hide.
Why did you leave me here to cry?
This feeling is like no other.
I miss you yet, and always will;
I'll forever love you, Mother.
