Everybody's Loved

I sat here thinking about this;
On a day when I felt down.
I was sitting here all alone;
Nobody else was around.

At first I felt sorry for me;
And thought that nobody cared.
Then a little voice came to me;
And my emotions flared!

It said to me that I was silly;
To feel so sad for me.
I should stop and think a bit;
And suddenly I would see.

It said I touch a lot of people;
More than I realize.
Suddenly the tears stopped flowing;
And I opened up my eyes.

It said to me that we all are loved;
By many more than we know.
It comes through in many ways;
And in many ways it’ll show.

It may be through the verses you write;
Or maybe the work that you do.
But we're all loved by someone;
And we're appreciated too.

And then the voice that spoke to me;
Reminded me from above.
That I can always count on;
God's eternal love.

So when you think you’re all alone;
And there’s no one left to care.
Remember that everyone is loved;
Cause God is always there!
