"God's Canvas"
Every corner of our vast earth;
Is God's canvas, so it seems.
With every color that's available;
The reds, and blues, and greens.
He paints the sky a pretty blue;
With clouds of fluffy white.
And splashes golden stars above;
To light up the black of night.
In Spring He dabs the grass light green;
With flowers of many hues.
He makes the yellow daffodils;
And lilacs, in purples and blues.
In Fall He paints the trees for us;
In yellow, orange and brown.
The hills are covered with autumn color:
Before the leaves fall to the ground.
In Winter He sprinkles white all about;
In the snow, that falls from the sky.
His canvas is always so beautifully done;
And He does it all for you and I.
With every stroke of his paintbrush;
He paints it all, from up above.
And every stroke He makes with His brush
He colors it with His love.
