"Being Gay, It's Ok"

I can't understand how people think;
And why they make a fuss.
A guy likes a guy, a woman another woman;
They're no different than the rest of us.

You should be able to choose whom you love;
And with whom you spend your time.
We're all just searching for someone special;
Someone caring, gentle, and kind.

If they happen to be the same as us;
I can't see why that's so wrong.
As long as they find the one they love;
And the one with whom they belong.

I think God's plan for all of us;
Is to find someone to share our life.
And I really don't think it has to be;
The usual, husband or a wife.

As long as they both love each other;
I think that's what God meant.
And each of us that finds our mate;
I believe, was Heaven sent.

We're all God's children, after all;
He made us, every one.
We were put here by Him alone;
And it shouldn't matter to none.

As long as we are good to each other;
And respect others privacy.
I know that God will not judge us;
And He'll accept us, individually.
