Happy Halloween
Tis that eerie time of year;
With scary things all around.
And all the kids will don a costume;
And make their way through town.
We'll see Batman, ghosts, and goblins;
Witches and pumpkin heads, too.
And orange lights will decorate the windows;
With Halloween wishes for you.
Graveyards suddenly seem more scary;
Than they ever have before.
And large paper bats and skeletons;
Will decorate the door.
Then that day, the kids will travel;
Collecting goodies, one by one.
And you'll be busy answering doors;
To hand out candy, as they come.
Finally, that day will come to a close;
No more kids in ghostly sheets.
And you will have the pleasure;
Of eating all the leftover treats!
