I am Truly Blessed

I have to stop and think sometimes;
On days I'm feeling down.
How very lucky that I am;
Just to be around.

And then I stop and think some more;
Of all the things around me.
All the things that God has made;
All the precious things to see.

There is the beautiful rainbow;
With colors of every hue.
And the beautiful sky above me;
Dotted with clouds in a sea of blue.

There are the flowers that surround me;
That smell so very sweet.
And the sand along the beaches;
That warm my strolling feet.

There are mountains reaching upwards;
That seem to touch the sky.
All the things He put in nature;
So beautiful to the eye.

Then there are the other things;
That can't be found outside.
Things I have instilled in me;
Like love, and faith and pride.

I have so many wonderful friends;
And add more every day.
I'm just so very thankful, God;
That they were sent my way.

The list of things would never end;
Of gifts I am lucky are here.
I just want to thank you, God;
For allowing me to share.
