Seems Like Forever

We've only known each other;
For just a very short time.
But I knew that I would like you;
The minute we met online.

You talked to me immediately;
As if you knew me well.
It didn't take long for me to see;
You'd be a friend, I could tell.

We talked about so many things;
In your life, and in mine.
I know that it's a friendship;
That will pass the test of time.

I'm so grateful that we met there;
What a very happy day.
Now I have your friendship;
And you're in my heart to stay.
