My Computer

My computer means so much to me;
I'd surely be lost without it.
There's so many things that I can do;
And so much that I can get.

It has opened up the world for me;
So many places to explore.
I can go to distant lands and learn;
And then even travel some more.

I can chat with friends in a chat room;
And meet new friends every day.
I can download games or go online;
And have some fun and play.

I have sites to visit and express myself;
Through my verses and my poems.
Some of them are like family to me;
Cause I'm reaching them in their homes.

I buy and sell things on "ebay" too;
It's fun to see what's there.
I can get most anything I want or need;
And never leave my chair.

I've taken so many pictures, too;
With my digital camera I adore.
I can put them all on a CD to save;
And then take a whole lot more.

The scanner has really helped a lot;
To save pictures from the past.
Then I can put them on a CD, too;
Or print them out so fast.

Yes, I love my computer;
It's changed my life so many ways.
I have to stop and think now;
What'd I do before "my computer days"?
