Happy Father's Day, Dad

I'm so glad they have a day;
Set aside for you, my Dad.
I get a chance to let you know;
You're the best that I could have.

You were always there for me;
Watching me grow and learn.
You made sure that all I got;
Is what I really earned.

Yes, I made some little mistakes;
They were things I had to do.
Lessons you let me find out about;
Which I know was hard for you.

You were always there to catch me;
If I stumbled, or I fell;
You picked me up and talked to me;
And never did you yell.

I hope for you the best Father's Day;
Right from the very start.
And all the love that I can give;
Comes to you, from in my heart.
