Dear Mother
This is sort of a poetry letter;
I wanted to send to you.
To thank you for all that you have done;
And all that you still do.
Thanks for all the care you've given;
To raise me to the person I am.
You taught me never to say "I give up."
And to know, that if I try, I can.
I learned by your example as I grew;
You taught me who to be.
It was easy to learn by watching you;
For all your lessons were easy to see.
I thank the Lord, for giving me you;
And for making you my Mother.
No one could ever compare to you;
Like you, there is no other.
Thank you, Mom, for being you;
I'm at a loss for words to say.
The love in this letter, comes from my heart;
As I wish you "Happy Mother's Day."
