What The Ladybug Means To Me
When I was just a little girl;
I found a ladybug, and took it to my Mother.
She told me , "It's a lucky bug."
"Like it, there is no other."
She said, "It takes good care of it's young."
"She protects them with her life."
"Don't ever kill the ladybug."
"It's a Mother and a wife."
I am a full grown woman now;
And I never forgot what she said.
Even though My Mother is gone now;
And rests in Heaven's bed.
Not long after she passed away;
I knelt by her graveside, all alone.
I asked for a sign that she was happy now;
Now that she had gone home.
Tears were welling in my eyes;
As I asked her to let me know.
Then I looked down at the kleenex I held;
And a ladybug began to show.
There in my hand was a real ladybug;
Where it came from I do not know.
It just suddenly appeared there;
It was my Mom, she was letting me know.
She was saying, "I am happy now."
"The pain is all gone away."
"And someday we'll be together again."
I had a miracle ladybug that day!
