How Do I Say Thank You?

How do I say "thank You?"
For all that you have done.
For all the battles you help me fight;
And all the battles "we" won?

You gave me back my self esteem;
And "courage" when I was down.
How do I continue on this path;
Without having you around?

You help me see that I am someone;
And a "special" someone, too.
I wouldn't be where I am today;
Had it not been for you!!!!

You helped me find the child in me;
And the innocence she should feel.
No guilt should ever be thrust upon her;
She was a child, and her feelings were real.

We have been through a lot together;
And you've helped me all along.
You've been with me every step of the way;
You taught me how to be strong!

You taught me to look within myself;
For answers that I may seek.
I now am strong, amoung the others;
No more am I timid and weak!!!

No words could ever express my feelings;
I am now my own woman, Mom and wife.
How do you say "thank you?"
To the one that gave you life!!!!!!
