Easter Differences

Little bunnies hopping everywhere.
The smell of Spring, fills the air.
Colorful baby chicks abound.
Signs of Easter all around.

Little girls in pretty dresses.
Coloring eggs, and making messes.
Chocolate bunnies, and jellybeans.
Are many of children's, Easter dreams.

Finding their baskets, filled with candy.
Left where they'll be found, quite handily.
Maybe an egg hunt is in their plans.
Crawling in the grass, on their knees and hands.

Adults realize, that Easter is more.
We show our Savior, how much we adore.
We go to church, all dressed up.
Perhaps drink wine, from the chalice cup.

The reason for Easter, is seen in our eyes.
It's the time that our holy Savior, did rise.
He rose from the dead, to save your soul.
This, indeed, was His true goal.

Easter is candy, that's the children's choice.
But all adults, should really rejoice.
What a truly wonderful time of year.
For adults, and children, to hold memories so dear.
