Christmas Blessings
It's that glorious time of year again;
When Christ, our Savior, was born.
And children hurry down the stairs;
To see their presents, on Christmas mourn.
But, Christmas isn't pretty presents;
Wrapped in paper, and tied in bows.
It celebrates the birth of Christ;
As every good Christian knows.
And, so on this very "special" day;
I send blessings out to you.
And hope that the spirit of Christmas;
Is yours, all season through.
May you feel the joy that Mary felt;
And the peace that was there that night.
In a stable, in the town of Bethlehem;
Beneath the star, that shown so bright.
